“Moore Madness” preps campus for basketball season

You know it’s almost basketball season when “Madness” strikes the СƵ campus. Moore Madness, that is, when the and basketball roster is introduced to the student body with games and giveaways in the Moore Fitness Center, the home court of the CIU Rams.
Students were thrilled to see their basketball teams receive the recognition as they entered into the gym amidst a cloud of fog and the flash of lights.
“I loved how everyone got excited to see the players because not everybody knows the team,” said Britton Morris, a Sport Management major, “It’s awesome.”
Festivities included, a $500 Amazon gift card giveaway, student shooting and slam-dunk contests, free t-shirts, and or course, free food.
CIU baseball player said he liked, “Watching the guys dunk, (especially) the ones on the (basketball) team, like .”
Sophomore Cody Goodwin enjoyed learning more about the Rams’ chances this basketball season, and he took part in an event called Dizzy Basketball.
“I fell in the process,” he admitted, but added, “It was fun.”
